Your embrace changes lives

Campaign of the SSVP of Spain to invite the participation of citizens and raise awareness about the importance of Vincentian service from the closeness, from the embrace.

The Superior Council of Spain launches the campaign “Your embrace changes lives”, which wants to convey the importance of feeling loved and cared for, especially when  in situations of material or spiritual poverty. When this happens, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is always there with its projects and initiatives to respond through an embrace that strengthens, dignifies and accompanies.

“Often all we need is a hug, even more so after this time of social isolation caused by the pandemic. Hugs among our own members and hugs with the people we help. I hope that this initiative of the Superior Council of Spain can be imitated in many other countries of our Confederation to demonstrate that affection and closeness are global”, said the International President General, member Renato Lima de Oliveira.
