The Society of St. Vincent de Paul Presents Its 2025 Moral Report

Council General International

The International General President of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SSVP) has presented the 2025 Moral Report, for the knowledge of all confreres and Councils, as well as all members of the General Council, which reflects the state of the SSVP during the year 2025 and the aspirations for the future.

During 2025, the SSVP has maintained its presence in 155 territories with more than 1.5 million volunteers, providing assistance to 30 million people worldwide. Among the highlighted advances are improvements in training, communication, youth, and governance, as well as the strengthening of institutional alliances.

The report highlights the development of programs such as “Growing Together in Faith,” the expansion of the SSVP into new regions, and the consolidation of solidarity initiatives, such as the “13 Houses” Campaign of the FHA (Famvin Homeless Alliance), in support of people experiencing homelessness. The campaign has reached more than 130 projects in 79 countries, with 2,786 homes built and over 11,030 people benefiting since 2018. Likewise, 375,000 euros have been allocated to humanitarian aid in 28 countries, and 85 new Conferences have been added thanks to the new online registration system.

In 2026, the SSVP will seek to strengthen its global impact through new financing strategies, greater support for social projects, and an increasing presence in international forums.
