The Daughters of Charity Renew Their Vows on the Feast of the Annunciation

Today, on the Feast of the Annunciation of the Lord, the Daughters of Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul renew their vows. On this special day, the Sisters reaffirm their wholehearted commitment to God and to those most in need, following the Vincentian charism.
This act of renewal, which takes place in every community of the Daughters of Charity across the world, recalls the words of Saint Vincent de Paul:
“Your vocation is not to go to a single parish, nor only to a single diocese, but to go throughout the whole world, to kindle the fire of divine love.”
From the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul, we ask for prayers for all the Daughters of Charity around the world, that their faith may always remain strong and that vocations within the Company may continue to grow.
