Short History of the St. Vincent de Paul Society in Scotland
Being part of the 175th Anniversary celebrations, the SSVP Scotland has published a book about its historical journey through the passage of time since its foundation.
In the introductory section of this work written by James McKendrick, Danny Collins, the National President, emphasises the progress made and acknowledges the services provided by the SSVP Scotland since its inception, paying his respects to all those SSVP members who have devoted their lives to charity in line with the Vincentian Charism. Yet Danny Collins reminds us that none of this is possible without the presence of God in the institution’s life, and each Vincentian is at the service of Our Lord.
