Passing of Liévin Andangha, International Territorial Vice President of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul for Africa 3

With deep sorrow we announce the passing of our brother Liévin Andangha Muamba, International Territorial Vice President for Africa 3, on 26 October in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo, at the age of 73, after a long illness.
Our brother Liévin devoted his last days to the International Structure of the General Council, serving as Territorial Vice President for the French-speaking African countries. Even during his medical treatment, he continued to fulfil this mission, representing the CGI and supporting the National Councils of his region.
The International President General has conveyed his condolences to the Vincentians of the Democratic Republic of the Congo through their president, our brother Jean Bosco, and to Liévin’s family, on behalf of the entire Confederation.
We ask you to join in prayer for the soul of our departed brother and for the consolation of his family, friends, and the Vincentian community.
