May 13: The SSVP joins the celebration of Our Lady of Fátima
Today, May 13, the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul joyfully joins the entire Church in celebrating the feast of Our Lady of Fátima, whose apparition to three humble shepherd children in 1917 remains a source of hope, conversion, and peace for the world.
On this special day, we recall Mary’s call to prayer, to serving those most in need, and to trusting in God’s mercy. May her message of love inspire Vincentian Conferences across all continents to continue their mission with renewed faith and generous commitment.
