Jérôme Perrin is buried in the cemetery of Saint Estephe (Dordogne – France).
Our brother Jérôme Perrin, Secretary General until his death, received a Christian burial on August 7 at the cemetery of Saint Estephe in the Dordogne district, accompanied by his wife Maria Claudia, his daughters Elsa and Julia, sons-in-law, grandchildren, relatives, friends and also brothers and sisters of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul of France, who wanted to say their last goodbye.
The funeral and burial were attended on behalf of the SSVP by the International President General, who conveyed his deepest condolences to Jérôme family, on behalf of all Vincentians around the world.
The PGI gave to the widow Maria Claudia and her two daughters, a frame with the name, a relic of Frederick Ozanam, the insignia of the General Council and the cross of the SSVP that the widow placed on the coffin as a sign of the love that Jerome had for the Conferences.
May our brother Jérôme rest in peace and may his life example serve us as a light and guide to persevere in friendship and in our Vincentian mission.
