Fr. Abdo Eid, CM, Appointed Assistant General of the Congregation of the Mission by Superior General Tomaž Mavrič

Rome, July 25, 2025 – The Congregation of the Mission has officially announced the appointment of Fr. Abdo Eid, CM, a member of the Province of the Orient (covering the Middle East and Lebanon), as a new Assistant General, at the request of the Superior General, Fr. Tomaž Mavrič, CM. Fr. Abdo Eid brings with him a distinguished pastoral background, having served in El Alto (Bolivia) and in various dioceses in Lebanon. His new role involves directly assisting the Superior General in global discernment and the accompaniment of all provinces.
