Federico Violo was elected the new President of the Italian National Federation of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul on the 26th, for the 2026–2032 term, succeeding Paola Da Ros.
Born in 1986, Violo holds a degree in Law and works as a civil mediator and agricultural entrepreneur. He has extensive experience in Vincentian volunteering and the Third Sector. He is a member of the San Filippo Neri Conference in Valenza Po, in the province of Alessandria.
Alongside him, the new National Executive Board, elected as a closed list, will be composed of Giulia Bandiera, Vice-President; Licia Latino, Secretary; Leonardo Semplici, Treasurer; and Francesco Cannizzo, Leonardo Di Filippo, Luisa Fasano, Guido Garbi and Rosario Macca as Board Members.
The new team begins its mandate under the motto “Good Leadership. Walking Together, Serving Better”, with the aim of strengthening unity, listening to local communities, supporting Conferences and Central Councils, and responding to new forms of poverty. Among its initiatives is “Progetti Italia”, designed to support local structures in developing projects, accessing calls for proposals and building relationships with institutions.
From the Council General International, we congratulate Federico Violo on his election and express our full willingness to accompany him and work closely with the Italian Society of Saint Vincent de Paul throughout this new term.
