Condolence statement from the International General Council of the SSVP

The International General Council of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul expresses its profound sorrow and solidarity with the Spanish people in the face of the tragic railway accident that occurred in Córdoba, which has claimed the lives of dozens of people and has left numerous individuals and families deeply affected.

In these moments of suffering, we raise our prayers for those who have lost their lives, for their families and loved ones, as well as for the injured and for all those who are living with the consequences of this tragedy.

May the Lord grant eternal rest to the deceased, strengthen their families, and grant comfort and hope to all those affected by this tragedy.

We remain united in prayer with the National Council of Spain, to whom we express our fraternity and support.
